Description MPR Compaction Pliers/ Bone Crimpers Compaction Pliers, also called Bone Crimpers or Krimpers, help shape the bone-patellar tendon-bone graft used in ACL/PCL reconstruction. The pliers compress and mold the bone portion of the graft. This ensures a circular bone plug for placement through the tibial drill hole and into the round femoral socket. Matching geometric shapes provide optimal fixation. The actual size of each compaction pliers is .75 mm smaller than the stated size. For example, the 9 mm pliers mold the bone portion of the graft to a diameter of 8.25 mm.
